“ The history between Ireland and Britain, has been a very rocky relationship, it has never been good.  They were empire builders, and we were too close, to just ignore, so they came over, they have 6 of the 32 counties, it not is not like people who say, the north belongs to Britain, the ports, are there, that is not the case, it only a part of it.  It just seems that way, apparently they sent Scottish people over, because they were protestant, and that changed the whole equation, apparently, we were forced to sign, the six counties, over, against our will. It must have been hard. Ireland only has a population of 3 million compared to 60 million, how are they going to take that on, somewhere along the line, you have to submit to the bigger power, as they have more clout.  We went back, it was difficult, for the children, the change, learning Gaelic,  the schooling was also different from what they were used too, I mean they did speak English as well, we eventually came back, it is a positive sign the Queen is going over, it can only help the peace,  there you are, that is the history of Ireland for you, succinctly. As the Royal Family have been left over, in Ireland for a while we thought they might need our assistance, even though we are only amateurs at the game, we can only try a few recommendations or suggestions, or concerns:

If there is only one Ireland, then having another one in, is only going to cause confusion, as most people have spotted, Irish guards, London Irish, Northern and Southern, similar with the sports teams, the efficacy of the whole matter, as soon as you have, a North in, after one hundred years or a generation, they are going to think that they are truly Irish, and no one, else, because they are born in that country all it takes, is, a not educated type, that cannot be the true case, as with someone who has descentdents running over 400 years.  Since it is similar, the same, one is going to say I am genuine, and the other same.  Eventually a truce will have to be called, where both sides win, as there needs to be some creditability.

It is like someone coming into your house  uninvited, taking, over a part of your property, you don’t really want them there, but they will not leave.  Unless you have an eviction, order, it will tough, to get them out.  As it can be hard to do that to a government If you try all negative tactics, like bombs, the innocents, are hurt, other side now have ammunition, stalemate ensues,  as the years, pass bye, little progress, the next generation comes along, who just want a good time like jedward, who seem bewildered by it all.  You would think, it would simple if the other party just left!  No chance!  The scenario has occurred in our family, it is not unusual, it can be toug fighting for fairness, one of the millions of injustices, that occur.  The next best thing is too sell it, or have a loan deal.  This is what, needed to happen, with the six counties, than a takeover, if you do not want to sell, then that is your choice, no one should take that away.  With consultation with the Southern Ireland, government, just to come to a power sharing scheme, where they can have their input, as you should not take what is not yours, it is a tricky jigsaw the royal family have been involved in.

Some success from that side of the water, has not been gone unnoticed as George Best, - Mr Football – shined for a while, with Michael Flatley, with his Feet of flames and Riverdance, hitting the big time, those magic feet, would put any sports person to shame, with the Rugby, dominating the six nations on a few occasions, Brian O Driscoll a household name, did not turn up for the royal wedding, his wife made up.

As Louis Walsh, turned to Simon Cowell as a contestant, was on a knife edge, in or out, scenario, said: “ Simon, it is that a little bit of hope. “ as Cowell looked bewildered, he went through to the next round. Good luck everyone!

The Drama Queen, the real one, and the Queen of the Court, all in the Jubilee miracle.

Virginia Wade thinks that, Andy Murray, is playing drama queen games, to call out the trainer so many times, it makes people wonder, I bet Judy Murray, never kicked up a fuss, over minor issues like he does, we had problems with his ankle, wrist, back, then his neck went, with him coming out, with a neck brace; moreover fatigue, you would think he was the bionic man, with all that he has done to him.  So the people eat their words, as Andy, takes full responsibility with the wild criticism, from those who he thought, were his friends, by reaching a final, with no game playing, or excuses.  Rarely does the racket do the talking in British Tennis; therefore his excellent use of the court, using the percentages, has made him as tough, as nails, like Ivan Lendl, a grinder. You cannot keep, a good man down!

People, watch real drama,  it may stem from there, as a Lady mentions, at the bus stop, “ I am going home to watch my soaps, Eastenders, Emerdale, Home and Away, I watch them all, cannot live without them, can’t wait, to get back. “  Perhaps it was all learned, from the shows.

In Jubilee year, we have our last champion, in 1977, with this Diamond, it occurs again, Jonathan Marray, winning the doubles, why is it something special seems to occur during this period.  This must be more, than, luck!

All wasted energy, acting like it is life and death issue, when,  it, can be handled, with more mental toughness.  This is not unusual behaviour it can happen in other areas, footballers, instead of being men,  end up play acting,  would go down, to the floor, at the slightest provocation, acting as if the world had ended. Not uncommon in the game.A classic example in boxing, when David Haye lost to Alexander klitscho, after all the bravado, he put out his foot, and blamed his toe.

This sort of action which is in Andy Murray's mindset, is an insult to those who really are in pain, or suffering, who are individuals, in the reality of something, that is hurtful.  The problem is it is better to act like it is a drama, as it brings attention without any achievement; you become the centre of attention, with out doing anything worthwhile.

You cannot have anything, and you are unable to live with it,  terms such, as “ You just lived with it, “ ; “ We had too “; “ We just did, “ ; “ We got on with it. “  These terms are very alien,  more like “ You cannot live with that, kick up a fuss. “ A victim mentality!

Even though they were labelled, by a Stringer as being ‘ Horrible People ‘ in the Times, recently, over signing of some shirts, for children, Serena, says, She is not perfect; however, when, you have so many people vying for your time, it may not fit, she may struggle with that, and be curt, and distance, it is a “ shield “.  The kids were very happy with the champ, at the NTC.  

David Haye toe excuse, in Germany: Wladimir Klitschko, said: “ When a man loses he should not blame it on his toe, he should not do that, as it seems like sour grapes. “  Well he did!

People have rounded up on Andy Murray,  still no 4 in the rankings, one of the best, a stand out in a game, where we have failed to achieve much, even though, we have been given an excellent hand, with a few,  issues, we can live with it: so can he? it is not the end of the world.  Faking a few injuries, we are not all like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who seem immune to this type of behaviour, with them you always, know it is genuine.  Leaving it all on the court, for the opponent to pick up the pieces; therefore wondering, why some have it, and others, do not. A wake up game; like the economy!

This behaviour is not uncommon, unless you live in a Monastery, you are going to deal with unpredictable people, a Teacher; Coach, Lecturer, or Manager would see this, who ever is involved with large numbers of people,  you will see it all.  Not everyone wants to be out there, the problem with professional sports, such as the Olympics, all it does is cover up, the crap that is out there, by getting above it all.  If you only see the best, you do not see the ones, below that level, who show struggle tendencies.  It may be genetics, bad luck, or simply incompetence.  As Ken said: “ The less people you know, the easier your life, is. “ Play an easy life; it works wonders for the soul.

You patch it up, fill in the cracks, then it comes up a bit later, like Andy, has been doing, so many players suffer from this.

The Queen might have a different attitude as she is very religious, will want to build bridges, to move on, and forgive and forget the past.  I would not really like to meet the Queen I would shake her hand, more like a celebrity, or a star, as strange as it, is I would do that. “  As David, who, has interests in politics, said.

“A lot of people have said it was harder, for the Queen, to shake hands, with, Martin McGuiness because she had a relative, killed, much harder, than for him, as he can mention look, at me, a I am an exemplary type, a good person, someone with respect, to shake hands with the Queen.  So he wins, more, than she does, and has more out of it.  She has never, caused any one any bother, or problems, or made it hard, for others, or got drunk, that is something, I respect, if you watch her movements, they are slow, no rush, like a lot of people.  She takes her time, knows, what to do, in that way, which is a, worthwhile quality to have.   The Irish people are very friendly, I went over their once, got up, at 6am, not too miss a minute, of my holiday, there were so many people out, jogging, walking the dog, and they said: “ Good Morning. “ Took me by surprise!.   There are so many functions, she has to attend, that even if she is not in the mood, still goes, to keep her commitments, as people will always, be asking what the Queen has been up to, everyday, someone will do that, she cannot get away from it all.  I know it has been the Diamond Jubilee, funny her horse won the race at Ascot, and her husband went down, to hand the prize over, no one expected that, at all, a coincidence.  Her entourage, went to Southern Ireland, and did not go to the Northern side, so to match it up, it has been done,  when you have such a big family, people are going to ask, “ Why did you not come to see us? “ she has balanced the books, you are always going to have problems with a dysfunctional human family,    She has been more genuine, than the person she shook hands with. “ 

As moved on, by Webbie: “ I remember when she was with the ATC, during the war, she changed a wheel, a lot of people, thought she would not be able to do something like that, what she did was to prove, to people that she was not afraid, to get her hands dirty, or be involved, people, remembered that. “  Everyone, we need to people to wash the dishes, any volunteers!

All this depends on the quality of leadership, we have, whether the top echelon who make the decisions, in the best interests of all, are acting in the proper manner.  If you wanted to win, would you send your Grandmother in to do a job, at age 86, to take on the big task, this is what is actually occurring, with the visit of Royalty.

“No one knows, Queen Elizabeth, we hear, read, and see a lot, if you look at, no one has an acquaintance with the lady, in a one, two, way, you do not get to know a person like that, you would have to go to Buckingham Palace, do the bowing stuff, and be invited, then you can say truly, “ I have met the Queen! “ Becky explained, as George replied, “ I do not know, how psychically I can meet her, it is virtually impossible,  to meet someone like that, as there is no proper way, of properly, knowing the Queen, or even having a chat, it is not as if you can walk in, same as No 10. “  She cannot shake every ones hand!

Her Majesty has never set off bombs, been drunk, indulged in silly activity, been offensive, her style, has been cool, collected, with style, so, Martin McGuinness may consider him self lucky, as Politicians,  Church Leaders, Professional Negotiators, Bertie Ahern, Ian Paisley, Tony Blair, and God himself, have tried, very hard, on the  “ Peace Process “, ‘ Good Friday agreement ‘, and ‘ Devolution’, to solve the “ Irish problem. “  Now her Majesty is involved, may be they needed a woman’s touch, on the whole matter.  It all seems a neat, tidy, style, the whole affair, with her meeting, totally alien, to the serious task of the issues, involved.  Perhaps she thought, no one can ever mention, that she did not try or, make any effort, it is like these people, who tell others to vote for ‘ World Peace’ then, do nothing themselves, at all, it starts with you! This is all in a different league compared to her visit to Wimbledon, and the NTC, and the United Nations: it is personal!

“ She, has the power to dissolve a democratically elected government, to let Parliament, fall. Of course everyone will deny it, she has the power, to dismiss it all “ As Stan who has an interest  in politics, reminded us.  No wonder it has attention!

As patron of the LTA, a visit to the NTC, helped Tennis, it was a nice gesture, just like Serena, a similar sequence, no one, asked for any tax discounts, unlike a meeting with the government, which landed in some concessions, for Mr Nadal, wish I knew how they did it, I guess when you have so many staff, you can have people to cover, all areas, the LTA, compared to many sports, have such people who can work miracles, with the tax man, that normal people would be heading for the door, or out of the window, with such ideas.  These people, may able to change, the weather!

The Queen of the Court Serena Williams,  an aptly, written title for her book, as she does live by that,’ Fuel Serena ‘, loves to be a role model, for the youngsters, who she visited, something they will never forget, like Cliff Richard, coming to our School, they are learning the Queen’s traits, mingling!  "I'm so happy to be on the court. I feel like this is where I belong. Maybe I don't belong in a relationship. But I know for a fact I do belong on this tennis court." Watch out Agnieszka Radwanska!  The Queen has come alive, in the year, at the court.

Her Majesty is in a different league to the people she is dealing with, so in the Diamond Jubilee year, Andy Murray,  may have that lucky streak,  to win the final, if not  the world is supposed, to end on Dec 21 2012, it was one hell of a year!
